Overview

Build your perfect kit starting with a premium solar panel

Our 5W to 80W rigid solar panels fulfil a variety of energy needs ranging from a continuous trickle feed of power to prevent battery drain in caravans, motorhomes and boats to creating energy self-sufficiency for off-grid travel.

These rigid panels can also deliver energy to remote power systems, such as electric fences and gates as well as pumps in garden ponds.

For more power, see our PV Logic MHD Rigid Solar Panel range in 100W to 200W.

Rigid solar panels rated 80W and above include bypass diodes to minimise the effect of shadows so that energy generation is maximised.

A charge controller should be used for rigid solar panels of 20W and above to protect the battery from being overcharged and to prevent reverse current drain. For more information about what sets the PV Logic Rigid range apart from other solar panels click here.

Put yourself in control

Our 10A and 20A PWM charge controllers are capable of charging 12V and 24V single or dual batteries.

Upgrading to a MPPT Pro Plus charge controller increases solar yield by up to 20% over a standard charge controller by artificially modifying the voltage from a solar panel system to actively match any battery's requirements.  This means that whatever the weather conditions your panels will deliver maximum power with minimum electrical loss.

The MPPT charge controller comes with its very own free-to-download Bluetooth app (Apple and Android) to display how the solar system is performing. The app software links your smartphone to the MPPT Pro Plus and shows performance figures for your leisure battery.

Complete your kit with fixing brackets and stands

If you want the complete kit to professionally install your solar panel on your caravan, campervan or motorhome choose a complete PV Logic Solar Panel Roof and Deck Top Kit to get best value. The roof and deck top kits come with a 10A charge controller and our premium aero brackets as standard but there is also the choice of alloy L brackets, or ABS corners to secure your panel. For narrowboats there is a specially-designed fixing bracket.  The complete kit option also gives you the opportunity to upgrade the charge controller to the MPPT Pro.

If you need your panel to be free-standing to power equipment such as an electric fence, gates or water feature in your pond you will find the stands, brackets and fixings section in our wide range of accessories.
