Overview
The Heritage Telephone Box Lighting kit was developed in partnership with parish councils, charities and local communities keen to preserve their local iconic landmarks.
As a feature of village and neighbourhood life for many years, these historic boxes are being lovingly restored and re-purposed all over the UK. Some have become book swap centres, tourism hubs containing leaflets on nearby attractions or local information points. Others are just maintained as historic community assets.
But, with de-commissioning, the mains electricity supplies in many were disconnected and the boxes have became difficult to access after dark. Our solar-powered lighting solution extends the life of these local amenities as well as illuminating the boxes to mark them out as historic landmarks when the sun goes down.

1 x 20W solar panel and 4m cable
1 x solar panel wall bracket
1 x 5m cable and ceiling bulb holder
1 x 0.8W vintage bulb
1 x IP67 waterproof enclosure for indoor and outdoor use
Contained in the enclosure is:
1 x 5Ah charge controller and timer
1 x 7Ah solar battery

Warranty
