PV Logic Flexi solar panels are the ultimate choice for flat or slightly curved surfaces.
Benefit from the semi-flexible panel's resilience
The ETFE top layer gives the PV Logic flexi extra resilience in really tough conditions.
Completely waterproof
Each panel is assembled to ensure complete encapsulation. This ensures the six layer heavy duty laminate protects the solar cell circuit from extreme conditions. The junction box is also injected with special silicon, guaranteeing no water ingress.
Cells protected from hot spots
Where used on a camper van or boat, partial shading of a solar panel is typical. In these circumstances, heat build-up and damaging hot spots can occur leading to a significantly reduced life cycle of the panel. The 100W panel is supplied with a shading diode.
Superior design
There are no square edges on a PV Logic flexi solar panel! Rounded panel corners and a unique curved junction box provide superior adhesion, no snag lamination and no sharp edges. The junction box is mechanically fixed in addition to being bonded to the panel. Strain relief is provided for the fitted 4m UV stabilised PV cable ensuring it cannot be accidentally pulled from the junction box.
Underside cable exit
The cable of the 100W flexi panel exits the panel from the underside allowing for a completely flush fit to your roof or decking. A remote shading diode box ensures consistent performance even in partially shady conditions.
Easy fix
The flexi range can be bonded to flat or slight curved surfaces (3cm curve per metre) such as painted aluminium, metal, GRP and fibreglass using Henkel MS939 elastic adhesive. For more information about what sets the PV Logic Flexi range apart from other panels click here.
Installation method
Please only use the glue pattern below (this is covered in more detail in the instructions), which ensures air flow under the panel is achieved preventing heat build-up and potential warping under extreme heat.
Add a controller
The PV Logic range of charge controllers includes the 10A and 20A dual battery PWM charge controllers and, for the ultimate in rapid solar charging, there is the all new MPPT Pro Plus.
The MPPT Pro charge controller increases solar yield by up to 20% over a standard charge controller by artificially modifying the voltage from s solar panel system to actively match any battery's requirements. This means that whatever the weather conditions your panels will deliver maximum power with minimum electrical loss.
The MPPT charge controller comes with its very own free-to-download Bluetooth app (Apple and Android) to display how the solar system is performing. The app software links your smartphone to the MPPT Pro and shows performance figures for your leisure battery.
